A job position from a friend's lab
=========================================
I am looking for an experienced and highly motivated postdoc or technician to help me set up a new lab at Department of Computational and Systems Biology, University of Pittsburgh. My lab currently focuses on using integrated computational and experimental techniques to study the mechanism and quantitative dynamics of mammalian cell epithelial--to--mesenchymal transitions. A qualified candidate should be good at all the basic cell biology techniques such as cell culturing, RNA and protein level measurements, flow cytometry, and fluorescence labeling of cells. Ideally the candidate should be experienced on quantitative studies using single cell time--lapse imaging, CRISPR. The postdoc will collaborate with other modeling researchers in the lab, and will be encouraged to learn mathematical modeling as well. More information about the research in my lab can be found at
