This is the question I ask myself every time I go to the class after I purchased a monthly membership (right after the one-week free trial was over). I am still not sure I have the answer, or answers.
I can tell that my life has been changed. One thing the class does to me is to make me look at the clock many times before each class (so that I won't be late for the class--yeah, I have always been a good student). Another thing is to drag me away from my Mac, for at least 90 mins (plus the washing and cleaning afterwards). The third is the awareness of my own body, to have a better posture and to have a little movement, to stretch, to stand on one foot, to roll my shoulders, etc.
The Yoga class itself brings me very mixed feelings. I can see some tiny progress during each class, which is consistent with "Practice makes perfect." But, I also carry pains every day, from doing various poses. I wonder whether or not one day I will be able to do Yoga without any physical pains, and if yes, how far this "one day" is from now. Does anyone know?
