组织和机构

成立于2003年1月的Chinese Union of Zurich是一个non-profit,non-political,并且是religiously neutral association[1]，其目的是促进中瑞经济，文化，科学技术的exchange，加强苏黎世地区的华人的交流，帮助他们融入瑞士社会。绝大多数Chinese Union of Zurich的 team member是收到精英教育的academia，lawyers，entrepreneurs等组成。Chinese Expats in Zurich帮助你寻找Chinese Expats(驱出国外，移居国外)，帮你build up有价值的 like-minded的伙伴，发现reliable information和trustworthy tips，参加top-class的InterNation的Event。ETH有一个专门的Housing Office[2]，is designed to帮助ETH和UZH的student和member来search accomodation和flat-shares。少量的furnished room和apartment提供给international students，doctoral students和guest professors，以及academic guest和post-docs，提供少量的limited time。Advertising accomodation可以发布给target group。所有的clients都是student和employee。

Housing and Finding a Place to Stay

不要期待employer给你arrange或者provide住宿，但可以ask for你组内的成员是否可以lodge（寄宿的意思）一段时间。要准备花些时间来慢慢发掘 suitable accommodation，因为reasonably priced的房子非常难找。最普遍的housing possibilities有三种，一是shared flat，二是your own flat，三是 a room in a familiy's house。Plan plenty of time for a flat-hunt。除非你made其它的arrangement，你可能需要在youth hostel里stay一段时间，或者backpacker's。（Youth hostel和backpacker's，旅行必备单词）Business apartment是另外一个accommodation option，至少在beginning阶段。他们通常会很clean，fitted with(配备，家具配备）kitchen和bathroom，完全的furnished。如果你不用search for房子（看来无论哪里，房子都是Big Problem），这段时间将是一个PhD生活中一个最quiet并且relaxing time，把它变为一个perfect opportunity来explore这个城市和neighborhood。你可以从located在城市角落里的shop，来获取food。即使在周日，你也有机会去购买一些bare essentials。Migros在主要的station，Bahnhof Enge会在每天8点前开门。Coop也有一些 store，会在周末晚上十点前关门。学校有一些提供给来自abroad的PhD学生的studio。你可以在Bulletin board上发现WG room或者flat[4]。

Accomodation for International Doctoral Student

18个studio apartment（就是那种包含了厨房卫生间一体公寓）预留给international doctoral students。这些公寓are suited in(经典用法，坐落于）翻新的Building里。 这18个apartment，8 apartment at each university's disposal，由12个23平米的小 apartment，以及6个32平米的大apartment组成。小apartment是CHF 656每月，而大apartment是CHF 758每月。这个monthly rent包括了所有的additional cost，heating, hot and code water, wastewater, electricity, 使用washing machine和drying room，cleaning of staircase，domestic servicing（本土维修，这是一个什么东东），gardener，refuse disposal service。除此之外，一个特别的服务是所有的individual power consumption，Internet access， TV licence fee，以及furniture，kitchen equipemnt，Kitchen utensils（器具、器皿），tableware（餐具），cutlery（刀具）都是inclusive的。每个apartment都拥有自己的 balcony，basement storage，可以access to一个bicycle-parking网址。 The tenants are also entitled to use the garden。但是bed cloths和bedding必须tenant提供。Tenant也必须负责清理apartment。但是property提供free of charge(免费的午餐是没有地）vacuum cleaner(这个词儿很基本）和 purifier(这个词儿略高档）。

Search Your House

你也可以在校内网站上search理想的房子 [5]。In addition，wohnbulletin是House Office提供的 Brochure [6]。苏黎世城包括12个 district，可以按照顺序 consecutively 标号为1区到12区。每个district都包括了两个到四个quarters。学校的Main Building主要座落于6区。 目前主要的租房其一是Ueberlandstrasse 17，cost是310 CHF/month，而Rental Security deposit 是500 CHF。 但是需要与另外一个人share Large double room。另外一个12749则是位于Lerchenhalde 43，cost是280 CHF/month, Rental Security deposit是600 CHF。You have to live with 5 other students together。 

价格与方案

6 bedroom的Youth Hostel的价格大概是CHF 40每天左右。另外一种方案是叫做Woko[3]的student Housing Cooperative，可以提供Home到Home的解决方案，提供给你chance去分享apartment和house。你起到很重要的作用来shape如何live和独立得organise你的life together。房租价格从CHF 400每月，到CHF 600每月，也就是从每月2623.88元，到每月3935.82。按照年租金的差距约是31，486.56到47，229.84，差额为15，743.28元。
