古人有“二句三年得,一吟双泪流”的说法,可见佳句得来不容易。昨天The New York Times 文章In Egypt and Tunisia, Lessons for Autocrats Everywhere中有这样一段话:
“These processes aren’t linear,” Mr. El-Erian said. “Nothing happens, and nothing happens and nothing happens, and then everything happens. The protest movement got ahead of policy makers in both Egypt and the West.”
其中Nothing happens, and nothing happens and nothing happens, and then everything happens就是难觅的佳句,也是最给力的句子。不着一字,尽得风流,此之谓也。
