杨振寰先生的警句

杨振寰（Francis T.S.Yu)，光学全息专家，宾夕法尼亚（Pennsylvania）州立大学退休教授，一周前在我校做了个报告。现在回忆起来，印象最深的是他在报告结束前讲的一些人生感悟，用他的话讲，是一些警句（Aphorism)。例如：
The precious price is lifeThe best price is freedomThe ultimate price is dignity
如果我们借用一首大家熟知的诗，可翻译如下：
“生命成可贵，自由价更高；若无尊严活，二者均可抛！”
l可是，我们的硕士研究生每月的补贴还不到250元，希望我们的学子们一定要珍惜生命。
杨先生还讲了以下几句话，也挺有意思。
没有宗教的科学是知识
（Science without religion is Knowledge）
没有科学的宗教是无知
（Religion without science is Ignorance）
带有宗教的科学不可信
（Science with religion is Ambiguity）

一个人的信仰与其智力成正比
“Believing in faith should be at different levels of abstraction, and it should be proportional to one’s intellectual capacity”
“Love thy country intelligently, but not blindly”
“Opportunity provides a greater factor as compared with a person’s ability”
