"Network Theory and Applications"
will take place from January 05-08, 2011 at the University of Warwick organised
by the Warwick Centre for Complexity Science and the CABDyn Complexity Centre
at the University of Oxford.
This school is primarily intended for students and young researchers
in complexity science, mathematics and related disciplines. Lectures and
tutorials will present a broad overview of statistical properties of complex
networks, dynamics on networks, numerical methods for the generation and analysis
of networks and applications of network theory. A small number of complementary
research talks by experts in the field will provide participants with an
opportunity to see the cutting edge of this rapidly developing field. We also plan
an evening poster session with catering dinner and wine, and encourage all
participants to bring a poster. (If you plan to do so, please tick the appropriate
box on the registration form.)
