       在研项目具有前瞻性，将会产生最新的科研成果、科研动态与进展，是最重要的科研情报，科研人员应当密切关注，及时跟踪与自己的研究领域相关的科研信息。把握自己的研究方向，及时调整研究思路和研究内容。掌握国内外在研项目对自己科研选题极为重要，只了解已发表的文献信息在科研中就太滞后啦。

        科技信息机构的信息专业人员应当了解国内外有无本学科领域的在研项目数据库、信息检索系统、信息门户平台等，为科研人员提供重要的科研情报与信息支持。

       目前，国内还没有一个“在研科技项目数据库”可供检索查阅，在CNKI平台查阅比较方便。
