2009年中国学者发表在SCI收录期刊的综述（Review）论文共计2535篇，共发表在1052种期刊上，学科分布达到174个，发表综述论文最多的学科为化学（多学科）260篇（10.2564 %），生物化学与分子生物学248篇（9.7830 %），药理学与药剂211篇（8.3235 %），材料科学（多学科）153篇（6.0355 %），物理化学123篇（4.8521 %），医药化学123篇（4.8521 %），分析化学89篇（3.5108 %），生物技术与应用微生物学88篇（3.4714 %），肿瘤学80篇（3.1558 %），细胞生物学75篇（2.9586 %）。
