每当学期期末，coop就会进行回收教材的宣传，免费索取详细的回收书清单、损伤程度及回收价格等。既能充分利用资源，也能给买书和卖书的学生带来一点实惠。这次也是贯穿整个冬季学期考试周，给大家充分的时间买卖。

回想我们毕业时，卖书是论斤卖的，真是可惜了，也是一种资源浪费。当回收成为常态时，我们利用资源的意识也就更到位了。

What is the Coop?

The Coop (The Harvard/MIT Cooperative Society) was founded in 1882 by a group of students, as a cooperative which would provide the academic and professional community with a place to buy merchandise at competitive prices and that would also distribute the store-earned profits among its members

What is a Coop Number?

Coop members are issued a Coop Membership number that members should use whenever making a purchase in Coop stores, or from the on-line and off-line catalogs. Provided the purchaser gives their Coop number at the time of purchase, these sales will be accumulated under the member's account and eligible for rebate at year-end.

The Coop has grown into one of America’s largest college bookstores; stocked with almost everything you’ll need on or off campus. Best of all, the annual membership fee is still only $1, as it was in 1882. （这个确实很厉害，花1元成为会员，既享受10%的折扣，又能在年底时享有rebate，很值得。）
