《欧洲营养学》上发表过一项由澳大利亚国立大学进行的研究,研究称日常饮食内摄入更多镁元素对延缓大脑衰老,预防痴呆有帮助。相较于每日摄入为350mg的受试者,每日摄入>550mg的受试者在55岁时大脑年龄约年轻了1岁,与更好的认知功能和更低的痴呆症风险相关。
