Position Description
Dr. Chongle Pan invites applications for a research position in Bioinformatics in the School of Computer Science and the Department of Microbiology and Plant Biology of the University of Oklahoma. There searcher will be mentored by Dr. Pan to conduct cutting-edge research in micro biota meta-omics, predictive genomics, and biomedical text mining. The computational approaches will include machine learning, high-performance computing, text mining, and network science. Requirements
• A Ph.D.or Master degree in computer science, bioinformatics, or a related discipline.
• Research experience in the research areas described above.
• Publications in peer-reviewed SCI journals.
• Computer programming skills in Python and/or C++
• Written and spoken communication skills in English.
