This is a story about a cat 🐱

This story takes place in Boston, Massachusetts, 2020

One night, as the sky was cloudy and windy, a little cat crawled up a pipe, making the sound

sound as minimum as possible. This little cat was like many other cats on Twister Street.

They all were lonely, homeless little kitties crawling across the street. This cat was a mother

cat who gave birth to two little kitties not long ago. As you see, this was a bad day, seeming

like it was going to rain! But no! The sky was a faint green and it had a yellow glow. Surely,

the cat thought, I think that this weather was kind of strange, yet I do not know why this sky

is so odd. Then, after a few minutes, the sky began to rumble so loud that the cat’s ears

were suffering from a big blow. Then, dust and debris swirled all around her and for a

moment, she was blinded. Then, when she opened her eyes, her little kittens that she just

held were gone. Then, she saw something going on before her: something that was dirty,

something that was grey, something that was swirling around, something that contained

loud cries and screams of “MEOW”, or maybe some people screaming “HELP”! But she

saw something that proved her worst fear: she saw both of her children’s heads peeking out

of the dusty, dirty, thing. She then vowed to never lose her children again, only if she had

some more. Then, as quickly as it came, the swirling thingie floated away from her... in an

instant. Then she heard a shout from a little girl “Yes! The tornado is gone!” Next to her

stood a grown man and a grown woman. She thought that they were a family because they

all had the same blonde hair, big blue eyes, and their tanned skin. But before she suspected

that, she hid under a bush, hoping not to be noticed by all these people. She had once had

teachings from the leader of the homeless cats. The wise old cat had said: “stay away from

the twolegs who are the domains of this place. Cats don’t even stand a mere chance

against these brutes.” Somehow the cat wondered, I doubt at all if they are brutes. Still, she

wasn’t very sure because she didn’t encounter one, after all. But the wise old cat’s teaching

was of true witness and she knew that she had to trust him. After a few minutes, she was

daydreaming of something so satisfying that she forgot that she was hiding from the

“twolegs” and in her happy moment, something loomed over her. That thing swooped her

up and cried “Here, kitty, kitty. It’s alright. I won’t hurt you.” She jolted awake, unaware of

what had just happened. When she finally opened her eyes, she saw that she was in a two

leg house. These were the same twolegs that she saw earlier that day when the swirling

thing had flew away. The blonde family. The little girl was so nice that she gave her a few

fishes and some cat kibble to munch on. After a while, she was done. And she thought that

the wise old homeless cat’s teachings were completely wrong: people were nicer than she

thought they were. Then they adopted her and named her Marshmallow because she was a

white cat. She then learned that the girl’s name was Terra. Terra took her to lots of places

where there were fun amusement parks. She thought that there was a lot more of places

than the ones she went to. She figured that because Terra’s family owned a car. The “car”

was very weird for her because she was a cat... and therefore not human. After a few years,

she became more and more familiar with the “car”. One day, Terra took Marshmallow to the

vet. The vet was a woman with brown hair and lots of makeup. Marshmallow liked her very

much. She later discovered that the woman could speak Meowese- a language only for

cats. She had told her in Marshmallow’s native language, which was Meowese, that her

name was Dr. Phil and that she was going to have a needle injection. Marshmallow was very

scared, yet she didn’t dare say so or else Terra’s friend Melissa would send pinches on her

cat fur. Marshmallow hated Melissa. Then, all of a sudden, she started whimpering. Melissa

kicked her in the face, causing her to pass out on the spot. Then, Doctor Phil told Melissa to

go wait in her office and explain to her why she kicked Marshmallow. The words barely

slipped out of Melissa’s mouth: “I hate that annoying cat”. Then, Dr. Phil called Melissa’s

parents to go and get her because of her rash behaviour. Dr. Phil pulled out a clean needle

and poked it into Marshmallow’s skin. Then the alarm on Dr. Phil’s needle started beeping.

Her face turned pale. “I’m afraid that your cat has fallen into a deep coma.” Said Dr. Phil.

Then she continued “I don’t think that she will wake up. The chances are very low for her to

recover. I’m very sorry, dear.” Terra was shaking with sadness. So was Dr. Phil. Terra’s eyes

were clouded with tears. Then Terra’s family left.

THREE YEARS LATER...

At Dr. Phil’s lab, she saw that Marshmallow had woken up from her coma. She made a

phone call to Marshmallow’s owner. So she dialed the number 234-567-8910. Then she said

“Hello, Juliana. How’s Terra doing today?” “ Very well, thank you, Phoebe. What’s the big

news?” “Oh, I just wanted to let you know that your cat has woken up from her coma.”

“Perfect. We’ll be right there.” “Bye, Juliana.” “Bye, Phoebe.” “Terra!” “Coming, mom!”

Yelled Terra as she slid down the stair railing. “I have good news for you!” “What news,

mother?” Asked Terra as she finally regained her balance as she stood up. “ Marshmallow

woke up from her coma!” Said Ms. Juliana Evans, Terra’s mother. So they went to pick her

up. And they lived happily ever after.

THE END
