London 2012 Olympic Games
At all times Designhive were extremely helpful in their approach to the project, and always provided a high level of attention to detail, being flexible in incorporating the many changes and modifications required by the London 2012 Bid Team, to produce the best possible end result – which we believe speak for themselves. Chris Stanley, Project Manager, London 2012 London’s iconic locations were transformed into images filled with stadiums, grandstands, crowds, fields of play and London 2012 branding. These represented a believable image of how London would be able to deliver the 2012 Olympic Games. We were then re-approached to produce a series of stills and animated stills showing the stadium during the Games and in Legacy Mode were created to in an effort to communicate one of the bid's prominent differentiators for the press launch prior to the final decision made in Singapore. We are very proud that these evocative images of the sporting venues captured the imagination of the media and consolidated London's position as a forerunner in the bid to host the 2012 Olympic Games. Imagery for the sporting events around the country, not the Olympic park, but there was so much work and due to their limited budget, we invested £45k worth of chargeable time and became an official Olympic Bid Supporter. Because of this new status, we were thrilled to be invited to attend the official party for the non Singapore Olympics Bid team, and as part of the team celebrated the win. Our relationship continued when we were asked to assist with the Singapore presentation, to show various views of the Olympic Stadium. Our imagery was used in the winning presentation in Singapore. |
