Dear friends and colleagues,

It is a great pleasure for us to invite you to attend and contribute to the Workshop “Hydrus Software Applications to Subsurface Flow and Contaminant Transport Problems,” to be held in Prague, Czech Republic, March 21-22, 2013. This will be the fourth in a series of workshops initiated 6 years ago (Utrecht, 2006; Prague, 2008; Tokyo, 2010). Main purpose of the workshop is to provide an opportunity for scientists, engineers, students and others to present and advertise their work with HYDRUS, exchange their experience with the code, and discuss possible future endeavors and collaborations. We have attempted to keep the registration costs of the workshop to a very minimum (200 Euros, which includes lunches). The workshop will be held in conjunction with an advanced HYDRUS short course, March 18-20, also in Prague (http://www.pc-progress.com/en/Default.aspx?courses-2013-prague). Advanced topics include multicomponent transport using the HP1/2/3 modules of HYDRUS, colloid and colloid-facilitated transport, constructed wetlands, and dual-permeability modeling.
