NutrientControl of Cell Growth through mTORC1 

Apostdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Jenna Jewell, inthe Department of Molecular Biology at UT Southwestern Medical Center to studyhow nutrients control cell growth. Our laboratory has several exciting projectsrelated to understanding how amino acids activate the mechanistic target ofrapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1) to regulate cell growth, autophagy, and tumordevelopment.Candidates must hold a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree. Experience inbiochemistry, cancer biology, or another related scientific field leading topublication in peer-reviewed journals are recommended.
