北京时间6月28日下午,科睿唯安2023年(2022版)《期刊引证报告》(Journal Citation Reports®,JCR)正式发布。自今年起,JCR对Web of Science™核心合集的所有期刊赋予影响因子,至此影响因子从SCIE和SSCI扩展到A&HCI和ESCI索引的所有期刊中,有助于用户更轻松地识别高质量期刊。
SSCI(Social Science Citation Index)即社会科学引文索引,数据库涵盖了3500多个社会科学领域世界领先的学术期刊,覆盖58个学科。其中COMMUNICATION大类收录的SSCI期刊数量呈现稳步上升趋势,由2018版的84种、2019版的88种、2020版的92种、2021版的94种,增加至2022版的96种,Personal Relationships和Journal of Media Economics两种期刊重回榜单,皆位列Q4区。ESCI(Emerging Sources Citation Index)即新兴来源引文索引,数据库涵盖了7800多个学术期刊,今年COMMUNICATION大类收录的ESCI期刊共121种。
2023年报告显示,Communication Methods and Measures蝉联新闻传播学科的榜首,影响因子(Journal Impact Factor,JIF)由去年的8.044增至今年的11.4,期刊引文指标(Journal Citation Indicator,JCI)为3.58。位列Q1区的SSCI期刊共24本,平均影响因子约为5.72,较去年增加约0.26,其中15本期刊的影响因子正增长。值得注意的是,今年影响因子最高的ESCI期刊为浙江大学和SAGE联合出版的Communication and the Public,影响因子高达3.6。Communication and the Public 创刊于2016年春季,是中国大陆新闻传播学科第一本真正同行评议的英文学术期刊,分别于2018年、2019年被Scopus和ESCI数据库收录,有潜力在不久后进入SSCI阵列,值得期待和关注。
科技传播领域期刊Science Communication继续位列学科排名TOP 2,影响因子由去年的7.441提升到今年的9.0,科技传播期刊Public Understanding of Science的影响因子和排名同样上升,重回Q1区,并在History & Philosophy of Science学科中也继续居于TOP 2位置。这两本代表性期刊的TOP位置表示着科技传播方向正在蓬勃发展。本次报告中,四大顶刊Journal of Computer-Mediated Communication、Communication Research、Journal of Communication和Human Communication Research全部位列Q1区,其中Journal of Communication期刊跻身TOP 3。
今年Q1区的期刊中,有5种期刊由去年的Q2区中发展而来,依次为Mobile Media & Communication、Journal of Health Communication、Profesional de la Informacion、Public Understanding of Science和Health Communication,体现出健康传播和科技传播方向的研究颇受关注。去年位列Q1区的期刊,有4种期刊降为Q2区,分别为Communication Theory、Journal of Public Relations Research、Public Opinion Quarterly和Research on Language and Social Interaction。
期刊引文指标代表了最近三年内期刊上发表研究论文的平均学科类别规范化引文影响力,其数值表示引用与全球基线的比率,高于1.0表示高于平均水平,便于用户进行期刊影响力的跨学科比较。今年共有52种SSCI期刊的期刊引文指标高于1.0,占比约为54.17%;6种ESCI期刊的期刊引文指标高于1.0,占比仅约4.96%,仍有较大的增长潜力。
Open Access开放获取被认为是挑战传统学术出版产业链的新趋势,由作者付费以便所有读者可以免费获得全文,但也在争议中不断扩大学术版图,很多期刊采用了混合出版模式,即作者可以选择是否OA。今年新闻传播学SSCI的平均OA比例约为18.955%,相比去年增加超过3%,ESCI的平均OA比例约为41.57%。
