PROBA-V already 1 week successful in operation!

Last week December 3, 2013 the micro-satellite PROBA-V started its operational phase.

PROBA-V will monitor the Earth’s vegetation on a daily basis hereby providing researchers the necessary data to extend the time series and perform analysis of vegetation dynamics. This kind of information is extremely important for global/climate change studies. 

Users can download the data from the new product distribution facility www.vito-eodata.be.
All products, also the 1/3km products and the L1C products in raw resolution, can be downloaded for free until December 12, 2013.
