      When it comes to the greatest philosopher in ancient china, the majority of people would attach their attention on a man named confucius, it's universally acknowledged that it is this great man that comes up with a series of moral principles, which still exert a far-reaching influence on modern society. So , you will not be surprise to find that there's a increasingly number of people from all over the world want to participate in confucius institute to study Chinese culture due to its' excellent reputation.

     On the contrary, at the other sides of the world, there's a man named socrates who is famous for his great thoughts at the same time. What he valued most is the critical thinking of dialectics. Even though he is the foundation of mentalism ,which is viewed as the relatively limited theory nowadays, it still palys a quite important role in his era, advanced as he is,     he defines many vital characters, such as what the justice ,bravery, intelligence is. And he put forward his ethic philosophy, it's this concept that bring philosophy back to earth.

    Any of us can not deny the fact that both of them are beneficial to the progress of human beings, and no one can ignore their positive effect on the advancement of the philosophy, however, a part of their ideas may seem to be inappropriate in the eyes of people today . For instance, the bias to women rights from confucius and the exaggerate power of fable from socrates are detrimental to the civilization of humans at present.

     Coupled with the contribution to the govern of Feudal dynasties supported by confucius. It may seem to go against with the tendency of democratizations all around the world.

     Therefore, what will happen if we combined the socrates' philosophy with confucius'? Just as When socrates meets confucius, sitting together and figuring out what is good for us. Chances are things will be completely different from what it supposed to be. Taking the best advantage of both philosophy ,keeping pace with the modern world with the most popular agreement, and looking forward the possible future with their glorious eyes. Presumably ,there's a new world...
