刚刚看到了杨文祥老师的《小诗一首：拜读陈筝杨晓虹感恩节诗作有感》，兴致勃勃地拜读之余，不由得想起一首我一直都无比喜爱（并陪我度过无数等红绿灯或被堵在高速公路上的时光）的歌曲：The Prayer （《祈祷》）。记得小时候学弹琴时学过一首叫《少女的祈祷》的，那时候想没什么比这祈祷更美的啦。听了这首The Prayer后马上改主意了，呵呵。 

  The Prayer最早被收录于Celine Dion (席琳•迪翁)的These are special times圣诞大碟以及Andrea Bocelli (安德烈•波切利)的大碟Sogno. 作为电影Quest for Camelot的主题曲，The Prayer还在1999年被选为金球奖的最佳原创歌曲，并逐渐成为在圣诞节期间美国电台等经常播放的保留曲目之一。除了这两位天皇巨星的二重唱版本，流行的还有Celine Dion和Josh Groban，Josh Groban和Charlotte Church的合唱版本等等。
