这个目录，基本列出了各个学科。“Science”我们总是翻译成“科学”，表示学科的名称，如社会科学（Social sciences），生命科学（Life science），但是，像

Formal sciences

Family and consumer science
Political science
是不是该翻译成“XX科学”？ 而像

Chemistry
Physics
Philosophy
又没有带Science，是不是不是“科学”？

而在中文里“科学”又有表示属性的意思，如“科学发展观”意思是“这个发展观是科学的”，物理学是科学。

中国学界该就这个问题进行一些讨论。 

 

在这个目录里，Logic 是不属于 Philosophy 的，不像国内，逻辑学属哲学。
