在numeric包中增加了 roll, moveaxis 等函数，更新了三维绘图包，缺省 axes3d() 函数创建opengl驱动的三维图形，在绘图模块中增加了 plot3, bar3, scatter3, mesh, slice3, surf, stem3, isosurface, particles等三维绘图函数，在MeteoInfo软件目录中增加了script子目录，包含了一些示例脚本程序；在toolbox目录中增加了ecmwfapi包，可以写脚本下载ECMWF的数据（和Python中下载类似）。
