近十年地质学学科中国学者SCI发文居前100位期刊

2001-2011年SCI收录至少有一位中国学者发表的论文1,015,291篇（截至到2012年5月26日按出版年统计），其中地质学（GEOLOGY）学科论文16690篇，16,690篇论文包括学术论文15,874篇、会议论文1,161篇、综述444篇、社论282篇、更正39篇、通讯30篇、书目8篇、新闻4篇、丛书3篇等。
16690篇文章共发表在274种地质学学科期刊上，其中中国出版的Acta Petrologica Sinica《岩石学报》刊登了中国学者发表的论文2309篇（13.835 %），因自引太多，JCR2010“镇压”了该刊（要求整改，未来有可能会被剔除）。中国学者在地质学学科274种期刊发文量居前十位的期刊见表一。
近十年地质学学科中国和95国家与地区进行国际合作发表SCI论文，其中美国是合作发文排名第一的国家与地区共计2498篇，占总文章量14.967 %；澳大利亚是合作发文排名第二的国家与地区共计826篇，占总文章量4.949 %，日本是合作发文排名第三的国家与地区共计686篇，占总文章量4.110 %。
近十年地质学学科中国和美国合作发文最多的机构为中国科学院929篇、中国地质大学254篇、北京大学179篇、中国地质科学院163篇、南京大学124篇。
近十年地质学学科美国和中国合作发文最多的机构为斯坦福大学108篇、明尼苏达大学89篇、威斯康星大学85篇、加州大学伯克利分校82篇。
