Description
Modeling & Simulation (M&S) is gaining a primary role inmany fields and it is increasingly becoming a central methodology for thedesign of new systems (e.g. simulation based design) as well as for theanalysis and improvement of existing systems (e.g. decision making, training, education, etc.).
This Special Issue will host the best papers submitted andpresented at the International Multidisciplinary Modeling & SimulationMulti-conference (I3M 2015) and will focus on integrating Modeling &Simulation tools and methodologies in real-world complex systems for solvingmultidisciplinary problems. The main idea of the special issue is to providethe readers with an overview of the current state of the art includingtheories, methodologies, applications and tools.
Authors are invited to submit papers presenting new researchesrelated to M&S theories, new modelling and analysis methodologies, simulation tools and software.
Scope of the Special Issue:
Ø The special issue will feature extended versions of the bestpapers presented at the International MultidisciplinaryModeling & Simulation Multiconference (I3M 2015), held in Bergeggi,Italy during the dates September, 21-232015. However, also external papers not submitted to the Conference arewelcome.
Ø The special issue will feature high-level original research articles on the latest research trends in the broad areas of modelling and simulation.
