火车旅馆的轰隆声

昨天入住田纳西州切塔努呷(Chattanooga)的火车旅馆(Chattanooga Choo Choo)。这家旅馆与众不同，四十八节老式车厢停放在双轨铁道上，车厢内的行李架依旧，但车座被搬掉换成了沙发床，每节车厢还加上了卫生间，这就是旅馆的客房。旅馆的餐厅别具风格，有一个设在火车餐车上，由一节1941年的头等餐车改装而成。另一个餐厅设在原来的火车站候车室，
在七十年代以前，美国的南方铁路是非常重要的交通工具。实际上，从1909年到1970年，所有到南方的火车都经过Chattanooga，使得该城市至今旅游业都很发达。

作为电影Sun Valley Serenade的主题歌，这首歌曾经风行一时，排在1941年流行歌曲榜首。Chattanooga Choo Choo是当地重要的历史文化见证，建了博物馆，火车旅馆也因此出名。游客可以登上老式客车，体验四十年前的火车旅行方式。
由于路途劳累和困乏，刚睡下时对声音浑然不觉，可是到了今天凌晨三点钟，轰隆之声不绝，搅得人难以入眠。刚开始象摩托车发动，后来像行进中的火车，过一会儿又像放“二踢脚”：啪-吱-唏-嘶-嘭！恰似春雷阵阵，犹如惊涛拍岸，一浪过后，又一浪打来，如此延绵不绝，害得我转辗反侧，无法入眠，只好起来，打开电脑，记下在这火车旅馆第一夜的经历。
虽说是出公差办公事，但为了节约开支，同事K与我合住一间客房。这老兄的打鼾水平举世无双，声调高，高过惊雷，赛过火车；音域宽，漂洋过海，绵绵不断。我起床、开灯、冲澡他都浑然不觉，鼾声不断。下次出差，绝不能干这种合住旅馆的傻事。咳，都是经济萧条给闹的。
