接AHR编辑部信函，2010年在中国大陆“创”刊的亚洲蛇蛙研究（AHR）被SCI收录。

尽管对SCI收录仁者见仁智者见智，但能通过SCI的收录进一步扩大AHR论文的交流传播力，是值得庆幸的。

非常感谢杂志主编及编辑部多年来的辛勤工作和努力！

注：之所以在创刊的创子冠以双引号，是因为这一刊物前身其实已有10多年的历史。第一期为“中国蛇蛙研究”，在中国大陆刊发。此后，转入美国加州大学伯克利分校，由亚洲蛇蛙研究会和伯克利分校脊椎动物博物馆主办，并更名为“Asiatic Herpetological Research”。

此外，该刊也有译为“亚洲两栖爬行动物研究”。

Informed from an email sent by a staff of Thomson Reuters on July 15 2011, and according to the statements released on July 19 on the Website of Thomson Reuters (http://science.thomsonreuters.com), we are glad to inform you that the journal Asian Herpetological Research (AHR) has been accepted by Thomson Reuters for coverage in Web of Science. The coverage begins in the Science Citation Index (SCI) Expanded with Issue One of Volume One, 2010. AHR has also been accepted for coverage in Current Contents - Agriculture, Biology & Environmental Sciences, Zoological Record and BIOSIS Previews.
