在这个暑假里，我参加了美国斯坦福大学的Andrew Ng教授在Coursera开设的Machine Learning 课程，时间是6月16日-8月25日。

我会把我在MOOC学习中的心得体会，困惑不解，所思、所想、所得在这里现场直播。

今天在Coursera上填了份Machine Learning 课程的问卷调查，最后一个问题是问Why are you taking this class?

我是这样回答的：

I want to be a tutor of this course. I believe that MOOC represents the future of high education, but there are two main drawbacks：

First, one teacher can not help all students in time. Numbers of professional tutors are needed to supervise those students according to their different cultural backgrounds, otherwise most of them will give up sooner or later.

Second, case/project education is very important in this machine learning couse, but it  is hard to be given and organized only by Prof.Ng oneself. I believe that my experience can help to this.

不是每个运动员都能成为奥林匹克冠军，同样，不是每个老师都能拥有自己的MOOC课程。这是我作为一名普通大学教师，为应对未来而埋下的一粒种子。与其临渊羡鱼，不如退而结网，行动吧，老师们！
