The Joint European Magnetic Symposia JEMS 2010 will be held in Krakow, Poland, during August 23 - 28, 2010. It will follow the series of conferences in Grenoble (2001), Dresden (2004), San Sebastian (2006) and Dublin (2008). The Symposia will cover the broad range of aspects of magnetism and magnetic materials and will provide a forum for the magnetism community to discuss new concepts, properties and developments in all branches of fundamental and applied magnetism.
The Symposia will be organized in the Conference Centre of the Jagiellonian University situated in the historical centre of Krakow. The Jagiellonian University was founded in 1364 and is one of the oldest Universities in Central Europe.
The programme will include plenary and semi-plenary sessions (45 min) and Symposia running in the parallel sessions. Within the Symposia the invited talks (30 min) and regular oral talks (15 min) will be presented. It is planned to organize a few poster sessions.
