IOP Publishing is an international scientific publisher that publishes some of the most prestigious titles in physical sciences. We work closely with researchers to ensure that we continue to evolve the services we offer to the research communities.
A vital part of our work in China is our Editorial office headed up by our Editor-in-Chief and Chief Representative Professor Mingfang Lu. We currently have a vacancy for a Publishing Editor in our office in Beijing to support the work of Professor Lu and to enable us to do more work with our research communities, encouraging submissions to our journal and providing support for authors.
You should have a PhD degree in science, physics preferably, and experience of working in publishing or scientific research and be passionate about research. You should be comfortable promoting IOP Publishing to scientists, have excellent presentation skills in English and in Mandarin.
The job holder may also be required to manage and update the China.iop.org web site.
The job holder will also have the opportunity to explore any possible business opportunities for IOP and IOP journals and support our partner publishing service.
