天津大学是教育部直属国家重点大学，其前身为北洋大学，始建于1895年，是中国第一所现代大学，素以“实事求是”的校训、“严谨治学”的校风和“爱国奉献”的传统享誉海内外，是“985工程”、“211工程”、“2011计划”首批通过认定的大学。在2017年公布的 “世界一流大学和一流学科”建设高校及建设学科名单中，天津大学入围42所一流大学建设高校，且为36所A类高校之一。  

As the first modern university in China, Tianjin University(TJU)was founded in 1895 with Peiyang University being its predecessor. It has been recognized nationwide and overseas for its motto of "Seeking Truth from Facts", its ethos of "Precision in Learning and Strictness in Teaching" and its tradition of "Patriotic Dedication". Supported by Chinese Ministry of Education,it is also one of the higher learning institutions to be included into the "985", "211" and "2011" Projects in the first batch.In 2017,Tianjin University was listed in the country’s "Double First-Class" university project.  

天津大学微电子学院，是全国26所建设与筹备建设国家示范性微电子学院之一，现有在校本科生678人，各类型研究生579人，其中双证研究生509人。为适应国家集成电路产业发展和学校学科建设布局需要，经学校研究决定，于2016年11月，正式独立运行。2017年12月，天津大学发布《天津大学世界一流大学建设方案》，微电子作为十个重点支持建设领域之一。  

The School of Microelectronics of Tianjin University is one of the 26 national demonstrating microelectronics institutes under construction. In order to meet the needs of the national integrated circuit industry development and university subject construction layout, it was determined by the university to officially operate independently in November 2016. In December 2017, Tianjin University released the "Tianjin University World-Class University Construction Program", and microelectronics is one of the ten key support areas for construction.

学科基础  

Discipline  

依托电子科学与技术国家一级学科，建设电路与系统、微电子学与固体电子学、电磁场与微波技术3个二级学科，其中，微电子学与固体电子学为国家二级重点学科，以及电子与通信工程、集成电路工程2个工程领域，电子科学与技术博士点和博士后流动站。  

Based on national first-level disciplines in electronic science and technology, we have three secondary disciplines in microelectronics and solid-state electronics, circuits and systems, and electromagnetic and microwave technologies, among which microelectronics and solid-state electronics is national secondary key discipline, there are Two masters programs in integrated circuits engineering, electronics and communications engineering, doctoral programs in electronic science and technology, and postdoctoral research stations.  

学院现有教授18人，副教授20人，讲师3人，预聘教师3人。学院有长江学者1人、国家“杰青”2人、加拿大工程院院士1人、天津市教学名师奖1项、教育部新世纪人才5人，天津市创新人才推进计划重点领域创新团队1个等。  

The School of Microelectronics currently has 18 professors, 20 associate professors, 3 lecturers, and 3 assistant professor. The School of microelectronics has 1 Yangtze River Scholar, 2 national "Thousand Talents plan" scholars, 2 national "Outstanding Youth" scholar, 1 academician of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, 1 excellent teaching award of Tianjin, 5 New Century Talents of the Ministry of Education,and 1 Innovation team in key areas of the Tianjin Innovation Talent Promotion Program.  

学院现有国家集成电路人才培养基地、天津国家现代服务业集成电路设计产业化基地、教育部先进陶瓷与加工技术重点实验室（方向之一）、天津市成像与感知微电子技术重点实验室、国际物联网联合研究中心（天津市）、天津市集成电路与计算系统技术工程中心等科研平台。并与合肥创新发展研究院、青岛海洋工程研究院、天津大学佐治亚理工深圳学院等多家异地研究院合作。  

The school has many experimental and training platforms, such as National Integrated Circuit Personnel Training Base, Tianjin National Modern Service Industry Integrated Circuit Design and Industrialization Base, Ministry of Education Advanced Ceramics and Processing Technology Key Laboratory (One of the Directions), Tianjin Key Laboratory of Imaging and Awareness Microelectronic Technology, International Internet of Things Joint Research Center (Tianjin), Tianjin Integrated Circuit and Computing System Technology Engineering Center.We also cooperate with Hefei Institute of Innovation and Development, Qingdao Ocean Engineering Research Institute, Georgia Institute of Technology Shenzhen University of Tianjin, and many other non-local research institutes.

天津大学“北洋青年科学家论坛”旨在为海内外的青年学者提供一个交流学术和共商合作的平台，学校围绕双一流建设目标，以深化人事制度改革为牵引，积极构建全球化的一流人才选聘体系，出台更加开放、富有吸引力的人才政策，坚持引育并举，统筹推进各层次人才队伍建设，提高了人才引进的水平和质量，为建设一流大学提供一流的师资队伍保障。论坛目前已成功举办六届，邀请了全球30多个国家和地区的千余名青年才俊参会，为我校实施“北洋学者英才计划”、建设世界一流大学汇聚全球英才。  

Nowadays, Tianjin University has been building up an array of world-renowned and top-notch recruitment system in line with the in-depth reforming of the personnel system. 岗位：长聘教授；  

薪酬：税前年薪65-70万元（全口径统计收入）；  

安家费：250万元（含国家和天津市资助部分) ，提供校内人才周转租住房；  

科研经费：理工科250-450万元(含国家资助部分)、人文社科30万元科研启动费；  

团队支持：首聘期内，每年提供1个博士生指标和3个硕士生指标，由学校支持招收1位博士后；

A-Class:  

Appointment: Full-time tenured professor  

Salary: An annual salary before tax from RMB 650,000 to 700,000 (all-inclusive salary).  

Relocation allowance: RMB 2,500,000 (including national and Tianjin municipal government support), temporarily rented housing within the university is provided.  

Start-up research fund: RMB 2.5-4.5 million for science and engineering fields (including the national government support) and 0.3 million for humanities and social science fields.  

Team support: During the first employment period, 1 doctoral student and 3 master students quotas are given annually, 1 post-doctoral assistant quota is supported.
