我们所住的社区Ridgebury Hills位于DanburyCity的西南角，Danbury City又是Fairfield County, Connecticut的西南端,和Danbury City紧邻的是Putnam Co.(属于纽约州), 所以我们和NY州是紧邻,虽住在康州,孩子的幼儿园则在NY州， 许多活动也在NY州。

我们所住社区的西侧紧邻在美国的勃林格医药公司（BI，Boehringer Ingelheim Corporation (USA) Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc）的厂房, 该公司分别占有Danbury City和Ridgebury Town属地(均属于Fairfield County)。Ridgebury Town和Danbury City的划界是穿越BI公司的直线。BI公司在这里开工前,这里原本是一片森林保护区， 一些树木足有百年历史，区内早已住有一些居民, 这样BI公司的范围划定就呈现了和居民区犬牙交错的复杂情况。

就我们这个社区及与之相连接的Wallow Grove社区来说,其界限极其明显沿Briar Ridge Rd分界向南延伸经一条林荫小道（不能通车）一直到Shadow Lake Rd.分界。而公司的沿Benson Rd.的分界则不甚明显。

今天11AM， 我们在Benson Rd.散步时就看到Benson Rd.临马路东侧上坡地是有居民住宅的， 他们的后院延伸到BI的界线， 而向下如何并不清楚，BI和居民点的界线来看, 是一片有数百十年的古树为界, 而在前些日沿Benson Rd.往南行到小溪边一侧可见里面是一大片古树无人区， 属于典型的森林保护地。

Fairfield County is a county located in the southwestern corner of the U.S. state of Connecticut. The county population is 916,829 according to the 2010 Census. There are currently 1,465 people per square mile in the county. ^[1] It is the most populous county in the State of Connecticut and contains four of the State's largest cities. When combined, Bridgeport (1st), Stamford (4th), Norwalk (6th) and Danbury (7th) contain about 429,800 people; almost half the population of the county.

It is one of the highest-income counties in the United States, which helps to make Connecticut one of the most affluent states in the United States. The area of the county, known as the Gold Coast, includes the entire southern portion of the county as defined by the U.S. Census Bureau, Super-Public Use Microdata Area (Super-PUMA) region 09600.^[2] The county was also ranked sixth in per-capita personal income by the Bureau of Economic Analysis in 2005.^[3]
