  传承与创新：移民、族群与美国文明”国际学术讨论会于7月23-24日举行，其中23日上午、24日下午为全体会在国际厅举行，23日下午、24日上午分两段时间各有四组进行学术交流。笔者除参加所有大会外，还参加了23日下午一个组的讨论，主持了24日上午一个组的讨论，并在24日上午第二段分组会上就提交的论文发言。
