人造甜味剂可以在保持甜味的同时减少添加糖量和卡路里摄入。但是,3月24日在PLOS Medicine上发表的一项研究表明,癌症风险增加与某些人造甜味剂食用有关联。研究人员发现,食用大量人工甜味剂(尤其是阿斯巴甜(aspartame)和乙酰磺胺酮-K(acesulfame-K))的受试者比非使用者患癌风险高。其中,乳腺癌和肥胖相关癌症的风险较高。
