You might have heard of the jet streams in Earth’s atmosphere. It turns out our planet has another jet stream, and this one is located far, far below its surface. In a study published Monday in the journal Nature Geoscience, a team of scientists describe the discovery of a jet stream in Earth’s molten iron core.
