第七届同行评审与生物医学出版国际大会及同行评审研究主题
第七届同行评审与生物医学出版国际大会将于2013年9月8-10日在美国芝加哥举行。此次会议由国际执行主编与技术编辑学会主办，由JAMA和BMC两家杂志社联合组织承办，将用3天时间就同行评审方面的原创性研究成果进行报告交流。此次会议的主题为：改进期刊和基金资助机构所采用的同行评审和筛选程序的质量与可信度，帮助提高全球生物医学出版物和科学信息传播的质量、效率、有效性和平等公正性。该会议创始于1986年，每4年举行一次，会议宗旨是把同行评审和科学出版物置于与科学本身相同的评价体系之中。
同行评审研究的主题范围很广，处理以前的会议中传统的议题，如同行评审与编辑流程对科学报道的影响，反映原创性的摘要，高水平的研究对科学同行评审、科学出版物和信息交流的影响等方面，第七届国际会议还建议以下研究主题：
