The next edition of Climate Informatics 2024 (CI 2024) - an international conference addressing new and emerging topics, and big picture issues in climate data science - is being held on a hybrid basis on 22-24 April 2024: online and physically in London at BMA House (hosted by The Alan Turing Institute). The conference invites you to submit your research for presentation, or propose a panel discussion: Research should be an application, method, dataset, or position paper in the format of either a full paper (<8 pages) or an extended abstract (<2 pages). Panel discussions are best suited for emerging topics that would benefit from open community conversation and diverse perspectives.Full papers have the option of being published in Environmental Data Science (an open-access journal at Cambridge University Press & Assessment) on the strength of the CI reviews. Deadline 2nd February (anywhere on earth)✍ See submission guide for more details: https://lnkd.in/eEK-DdhiCurrently, confirmed keynote speakers include⭐ Anima Anandkumar (Caltech)⭐ Peter Dueben (European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts)⭐ ⭐ David John Gange (NSF NCAR - The National Center for Atmospheric Research) and Amy McGovern (University of Oklahoma)⭐ Tamsin Edwards (King's College London)⭐ Ilan Price (Google DeepMind)Chairs: Yuhan (Douglas) Rao (North Carolina Institute for Climate Studies) & Scott Hosking (The Alan Turing Institute & British Antarctic Survey)Consider submitting and joining this international conference!
