二、研究
围绕三维纺织结构复合材料动态强度问题,以冲击强度和疲劳强度为主要切入点,研究三维纺织结构复合材料多尺度细观结构与动态强度间关系,同时扩展至剪切增稠液体浸润三维针织间隔织物冲击阻尼吸能行为,揭示三维纺织结构复合材料多尺度细观结构特征、材料动态力学性质与动态强度增韧机理,形成三维纺织结构复合材料从多尺度细观结构层面上关于编织复合材料、机织复合材料到柔性纺织复合材料等系列动态强度研究成果。

领导东华大学教育国际化团队共计40余人,2013年有来自143个国家4500余名留学生在校学习,其中学历生940名;与20个国家和地区的71所高校开展校际合作交流。
东华大学欧美同学会在我国欧美同学会成立百年之际得到快速发展,现在东华大学分会有会员190余名,目前东华大学精英大部分都是会员。
高性能纤维及制品教育部重点实验室(B类)于10月24日通过教育部验收。
五、遗憾
1 竞聘教育部长江学者特聘教授,6月18日第二轮电话答辩失利;
2 由于限项无法申请面上项目,转向申请国家自然科学基金重点项目,失利。
