The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Cornell invites applicants for a tenuretrack faculty position in Transportation Systems Engineering starting in Fall 2009. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in civil engineering, systems engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline. An appointment at the Assistant Professor level is anticipated, but an Associate Professor appointment will also be considered.
Applications must be submitted both by mail and on-line. Application must consist of a detailed resume, statement of professional research and teaching goals, official graduate transcript, 1-3 publications, and the names, mailing and e-mail addresses, and phone and fax numbers of at least three references.
