对比-国外提升tenure副教授的国际评审框架vs国内提职外评表格

收到邀请,为某亚洲大学其年轻教员提升副教授做个评估,不确定这是不是统一标准,但至少这是一个国外大学的某个学院的标准:

(a)   How well and in what capacity do you know XXX?

(b)   How would you characterize thecandidate’s ability to do creative and significant research?

(c)   Has the candidate demonstratedindependence, and developed his own body of high quality work?

(d)   Are there specificcontributions the candidate has made that have a significant effect on hisreputation? In this context, it would be helpful to have some elaboration ofwhat these contributions are and why they are important.

(e)   What basis is there forexpecting the candidate to make significant contributions in the future?

(f)    Would the candidate comparewell with peers who have secured tenure and Associate Professorship (orequivalent) in a research university in USA or Europe? Can you cite relevantpeers of comparable standing and the universities they are associated with? WouldXXX receive tenure at your institution?

Do feel free to comment on other aspects ofXXX’s record that might be useful to an overall evaluation.
