In RA, we argue that glucocorticoid plays an important role in controlling inflammation during the day and human growth hormone plays an important role in eliminating inflammation during the slow-wave sleep at night.

So we must Balance the two hormones in your daily maintenance because GC and GH secretion complement each other.

During the day, GC controls inflammation and pain and the amount of hormone affects the fluctuation of joint pain symptoms. GC can be improved by aerobic exercise and reduced due to cold weather, sun exposure, fatigue, etc. High GC can be stored as HSP protein to enhance stress resistance.

During slow-wave sleep GH restores the immune balance, metabolizes the immune complex, and sleep quality affects the inflammatory state the next day.

In the acute phase, GC treatment can be used during the day and GH at night. High GC concentration at night affects sleep, insomnia, and shallow sleep depth. Studies have shown that children with excessive amounts of adrenal hormones affect growth hormones and growth is affected.

Strengthen the management in the remission stage and avoid to produce secondary immunity; Control and eliminate existing inflammation: no reduction in GC, no disruption of sleep and GH hormones secretion. See chapters 5-9 for more details on the five balances.
