生物活性：碘塞罗宁钠是甲状腺激素的一种活性形式。 Liothyronine sodium 是一种有效的甲状腺激素受体 TRα 和 TRβ 激动剂，对于 hTRα 和 K_i 为 2.33 nM 和hTRβ，分别为^[1][2][3]。 IC50 和目标：TRβ1^[1][2]  

体外：Liothyronine (T3, 100 nM) sodium 刺激 TRβ1 过表达的肝癌细胞的增殖^[1]。 Liothyronine sodium 与人 β1 甲状腺激素受体 (hTRβ1) 结合，并改变其构象。 Liothyronine sodium 具有促进生长、诱导分化和调节代谢作用^[2]。

细胞试验：制备去甲状腺激素 (Td) 血清。在甲基纤维素中进行肝癌细胞的生长。为了确定碘塞罗宁 (T3) 对细胞生长的影响，在第 0 天将细胞以 3 × 104 个细胞/60 mm 培养皿的密度铺板，并在含有 5% 常规血清、5% Td 或 5% 的培养基中孵育Td 和 100 nM T3。初次铺板后 3 周对甲基纤维素中的集落形成进行评分[1]。
