生物活性：Methacholine (Acetyl-β-methylcholine) choride 是一种有效的 muscarinic-3 (M3) 激动剂。乙酰甲胆碱氯化物直接作用于平滑肌上的乙酰胆碱受体，导致支气管收缩和气道狭窄。乙酰甲胆碱氯化物显示出识别支气管高反应性 (BHR) 的高灵敏度。乙酰甲胆碱氯化物可用于测量气道高反应性 (AHR)，作为评估具有哮喘样症状和正常静息呼气流速的个体的诊断辅助手段^[1][2][3][4]。

体内：乙酰甲胆碱氯化物（0.5 µg/kg 加 5 µg/kg/min，持续 30 分钟）诱导犬支气管收缩^[4]。乙酰甲胆碱氯化物（0.5 mg/kg；iv）诱导支气管收缩是在小鼠中以剂量依赖性方式被缓激肽 (4-40 µg/kg; iv) 抑制^[5]。
