生物活性：棕榈油酸是脂肪酸的一种成分，与预防 SHRSP 大鼠死于脑血管疾病有关。 

体外：棕榈油酸是人乳中的一种脂肪酸^[1]。在给予各种脂肪酸的 SHRSP 中，含有 1% 棕榈油酸的饮食可显着提高存活率，同时通过饮用 1% NaCl 水摄入过量的 NaCl 可降低中风的发生率^[2]。
