Cambridge is the place in which people always emphasize its unique identity. The biophysics is not called by this name, it is actually divided into two groups:
1) Systems biology
In this group, building mathematical model for the life processes within cell as an integrated circuit. It is the response to the urgent call to understand the life as the emerging properties of an interacting network of life elements
2) Physics of Living matter
In this group, a mathematical system is in the second place. It prefers from directly observing the facts of life through the newest microscopy technologies, and applying the techniques, methods and philosophy of the physics to explain the phenomenon of life in the sense of case by case.
