本期封面展示了福州大学岳源源教授团队的研究工作。该封面以“炼丹”为创作灵感,融合了古典炼丹的意象与现代科技元素,中心位置展示了一幅精致的Beta分子筛合成过程图,周围环绕着流动的符号与火焰则象征着化学合成的神秘与力量,原材料(硅源和铝源等)直接来源于大山和炼丹炉中的晶化母液,“绿色仙丹”象征着绿色经济合成的Beta分子筛,该分子筛具备卓越的催化性能。

本文以高岭土和晶化母液为原料进行了11次循环制备,所合成的Beta分子筛均展现出相当的物化性质和催化性能。通过生命周期评价的定量分析,明确了分子筛合成过程中不同阶段的环境负担。结果表明,以天然矿物和母液为原料不仅可以循环制备Beta分子筛,而且具有显著的环境效益。这一发现不仅为优化和改进分子筛的合成工艺提供了新思路,也为分子筛制备过程的节能减污降碳贡献了新的解决方案。
