Revolutionizing cancer treatment with aggregation-induced emission luminogens. Gao et al. achieved a remarkable breakthrough with aggregation-induced emission luminogens (AIEgens) for precise cancer diagnosis and treatment. Their innovative AIEgens, TBBCyP and TBTCyP, designed with a D-A-π-A structure, offer exceptional brightness and efficiency in photodynamic therapy (PDT).
