The Chinese herbal medicine data of 340 discharged patients of COVID-19 were statistically analyzed for their efficacy; Chinese medicines of clearing heat and detoxification were most frequently used for 424 times, followed by those of drying dampness and eliminating phlegm. See Table 3 and Figure 4.

The frequency statistics was conducted for the TCM formula used by 340 discharged patients of COVID-19. Lung cleansing & detoxifying decoction was most frequently administered for 78 times. See Table 4 and Figure 5.

The statistical analysis of four natures of TCM used by 340 discharged patients of COVID-19 shows that among Chinese herbal medicines against COVID-19, the warm drugs were most frequently administered for 1,656 times; see Table 5. In the radar chart of frequency of four natures of TCM, the figures indicate the use frequency of drugs with corresponding drug nature, as shown in Figure 6.

The statistical analysis of five flavors of TCM used by 340 discharged patients of COVID-19 shows that among Chinese herbal medicines against COVID-19, the sweet drugs were most frequently administered for 2,196 times (Table 6). In the radar chart of use frequency of five flavors of TCM, the figures indicate the use frequency of herbs with corresponding flavor, as shown in Figure 7.

The statistical analysis of meridian tropism of TCM used by 340 discharged patients of COVID-19 shows that among Chinese herbal medicines against COVID-19, the lung meridian drugs were most frequently administered for 2,893 times (Table 7). In the frequency radar chart of meridian tropism of TCM, the figures show the use frequency of drugs with corresponding meridian tropism, as shown in Figure 8.
