每次股市跌跌不休时，巴菲特在2017年写给伯克希尔-哈撒韦公司股东的信所引用的一首诗，每次都会被拿出来作为定海神针。曾经在自己的微信公众号里写过，这次翻出来和大家共享。

这首诗题为《If如果》，是印度出生的英国诗人吉卜林（Rudyard Kipling，1865-1936）写给12岁的儿子的。吉卜林1907年获得了诺贝尔文学奖。

投资哲学，人生哲学，这封信满满都是。我也试着翻译成中文：

If you can keep your head when all about you

Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;

If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,

But make allowance for their doubting too;

If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,

Or, being lied about, don't deal in lies,

Or, being hated, don't give way to hating,

And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise;

都失去理智，怪罪你，

如果你能信任自己，当所有人怀疑你，

但是也体谅他们的怀疑；
