Nam-Gyu Park教授分别于1988、1993和1995年获得韩国国立首尔大学的理学学士、硕士和博士学位。博士毕业后,先后于1996年前往法国科学院波尔多凝聚态材料化学研究所,1997年前往美国可再生能源国家实验室从事博士后研究工作。2000年回国后,在韩国电子通信研究院担任首席科学家从事研究工作,2005年起担任韩国科学技术研究所太阳能电池研究中心主任。2009年起加入韩国成均馆大学担任全职教授。Nam-Gyu Park教授一直致力于高效太阳能电池的研究,被业界公认为是该领域最重要的三位关键科学家之一。他于2012年首次报道了效率接近10%的全固态有机-无机杂化钙钛矿太阳能电池,被认为是钙钛矿太阳能电池发展历程中里程碑式的工作,他已在Science, Nature, Nat.
