Christian Rehtanz教授获得了德国多特蒙德工业大学电子工程的学士和博士学位。1994年至2000年,他是多特蒙德工业大学的研究助理和助理教授。2000年,他开始为ABB公司工作,担任研究员,后来被提升为技术经理。2005年,他在ABB中国公司研究部担任副总裁。
