一大早，被惊呆了！前天投的一篇文章被拒了，被编辑部在initial validation环节拒了，还是第一次遇到这种情况。

昨天早晨收到了编辑部的邮件，要求提供如下数据：

• Source data (raw data, original data, individual data points) for information presented in your tables and figures. This should be in a generally readable format and Excel files are preferred.

• If your raw data were obtained from publicly available datasets, please provide the working sheets used to analyse these data.

• If statistical programs (such as R, SAS, SPSS, MATLAB) were used for the data analysis or figure creation in your manuscript, please provide all the relevant code/script files (such as .R or .SPS) and data sheets to replicate your analyses or figures.

• Full scans of any entire, original gels displayed in your manuscript, the original files for any microscopy images or flow cytometry data (.fcs) included in your figures, and gating strategies for any flow experiments with clear labels to differentiate separate experiments.

看到后觉得很诧异，第一次遇到这种情况，而且是把原始数据用邮箱发给他们，如果要求提供原始数据，应该在投稿过程中要求吧，为什么会在后面发邮件要数据呢？而且初看到这封邮件我还以为是钓鱼邮件呢？虽然觉得不合理，但是发文章我们是被动的，编辑部要啥还得给啊。

但是我是做分子动力学模拟的，文件都很大，到底要发什么数据呢，如果仅是曲线的数据点，那有什么意义呢？文章里的图都是结构图，如何提供原始数据呢？考虑之后我把每一条轨迹的最后一帧的pdb文件发了过去，而且还担心不符合要求，在邮件里说明了情况，写明了如果不合要求可以提供更多数据。

但是又过了一天收到了拒信，“This manuscript does not fulfill the standards established for the journal to be considered for publication.”我都懵了，这是因为对我提供的数据不满意吗？

我本来对编辑部的这些做法就不满意，按我的性格就会不再理会，转投其他杂志了。可是学生要用这篇文章毕业，之前一再催促，他都不着急，要求2021年三月份完成的初稿，六月份才完成，然后给了建议，本应该一个月内改完的，他又拖到了11月份，为了让他不延期，我没有让他继续修改，而是我自己把文章重新了，尽快投了。明年三月份就要提交毕业申请，那之前文章需要被接收，这中间还有圣诞、元旦、春节三个大假期，都容不得你试错......

考虑了之后我还是回复了编辑部，希望他们给机会弥补......
